Celebrate San Juan at Malvarrosa Beach with Valencia Language Exchange

Join VLE for the most magical night of the year as we celebrate San Juan together. This event is the perfect opportunity to meet people from all over the world, practice different languages, and experience an authentic Valencian tradition by the sea.

We will kick off the evening at six o’clock in the evening at Bar Madre, located in the historic El Cabañal neighborhood. This first stop will be the perfect chance to break the ice, chat, and enjoy some drinks and food together before heading down to the beach.

Later in the evening, the entire group will walk over to the beach to find a good spot on the sand. Once there, we will set up our bonfire, jump the waves, and make our wishes for the year ahead according to tradition.

Which events do we organise on Sunday?

On Sundays we organise different creative workshops, such as paint and wine, neon painting and a ceramic workshop. We alternate the workshops every week so that we organise each workshop at least once a month.

What is the cost of the events?

Most of the events are free of cost except from our events on Fridays because we organise specials events, such as painting and ceramic classes. Those events requiere some costs for the materials provided by VLE.

How do I register for the events?

You go to our site valencialanguageexchange.com and chose a date that suits you in the calender. You fill in the form of the event and you are ready to participate. You will receive a QR code that our coordinators will check at the beginning of the event.

Is Valencia Language Exchange collaborating with the State Ministry of Education (Conselleria de Educación)?

Yes, Valencia Language Exchange organises events in the collaboration with the State Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports. (conselleria d’educació cultura i esport)

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Up to one week before the event: 100% refund, either in cash or as a credit voucher, based on your preference.
From one week to 72 hours before: 100% refund only as a credit voucher.
Less than 72 hours before: No refunds.

In case of a medical emergency or force majeure (with valid proof), or  due to weather conditions, the event will be rescheduled, or the credit voucher will be issued for use within one year.

Proof of emergency must be submitted before the event. No refunds after the event.
