We’ll begin our trip with a vibrant celebration of local heritage, flavor, and community spirit. in Motilla del Palancar, where the town comes alive for the Saffron Festival (Jornadas del Azafrán) — Discover the secrets of Spain’s treasured “red gold,” enjoy authentic dishes, folk music, and the festive atmosphere that fills the streets.
After this flavorful experience, we’ll continue to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Cuenca, perched on a dramatic rocky hill. With our official guide (Optional), explore its historic old town, including the Cathedral, Plaza Mayor, Church of San Pedro, Tower Mangana, and panoramic viewpoints over the Júcar River.

09:30 – Harvesting, peeling, and toasting of saffron flowers
10:30 – Esparto workshop
11:00 – Workshops (related to saffron)
11:30 – Ceramics workshop
12:00 – Wine tasting, Bodegas Moratalla
12:30 – Concert by the group Her Itage
14:00 – Lunch: Magro con tomate and dessert (popular prices)
On arrival you can have the guided tour or discover the city on your own, We recommend you having the guided tour (very good guide)
After an amazing day together we go back to Valencia (Around 18:30)
Up to one week before the event: 100% refund, either in cash or as a credit voucher, based on your preference.
From one week to 72 hours before: 100% refund only as a credit voucher.
Less than 72 hours before: No refunds.
In case of a medical emergency or force majeure (with valid proof), or due to weather conditions, the event will be rescheduled, or the credit voucher will be issued for use within one year.
