The castle dates back to the 14th century and represents a spectacular construction. It rests on an imposing rock, culminating at 64 meters above the sea. The castle is so beautiful that the antipope Benedict XIII (Pedro de Luna also called Papa Luna) decided to make it his residence. Its historical charm attracts a lot of tourists.
Chosen as one of the most beautiful villages in Spain, this destination has also been used as a filming location for the hit series Game of Thrones and for several movies, among which we can mention “El Cid”. During our visit, we will be able to see 2 or 3 sites where the series Game of Thrones were filmed.
