This annual event is animated by 5,000 local organizations, featuring thousands of participants dressed in medieval costumes, along with over 400 actors, riders, and dancers. Together, they bring the legendary story of the “Amantes de Teruel” to life.

Highlights of the Festival:

Medieval Tournament: At 17:00, witness a spectacular medieval tournament in the arena. Watch knights in armor, horses, and engaging events for a full 2 hours. (Watch the video below)
Historical Roots: This festival began in 1997 when a small group of actors, dressed in medieval outfits representing Las Bodas de Isabel, took to the streets. Since then, it has grown exponentially, with more actors, activities, and stalls every year.

09:00 Departure from Valencia

Departure from Valencia is at 9:00 am. We meet at 08:45 in front of Mestalla (Avenida de Argon, 31)

11:30 Arrival in Teruel

We will arrive at Teruel around 11:30

Visit the city and medieval festival

Visit the biggest medieval market in Spain and enjoy the streets of Teruel

17:00 Medieval tournament (optionnal)

At 17:00 there is a medieval tournament with knights, it is optionnal but we recommand this activity!

18:00 Heading back to Valencia

After a beautiful day, it is time to go back and head to bus to Valencia. We meet at the bus 15 minutes beforehand.

How can you book the trip?

You can book on the website or at our office in Plaza Honduras, 26 from 09:30 to 14:30.

Do I have to book in advance or can I pay on the day of travel?

Yes, it is necessary to book in advance, as we cannot guarantee that there will be places available on that day.

What are the cancellation policies?

Cancellation policy: Until one week before, 100% refund in form of money/voucher whatever you prefer. From 1 week to 72 hours before 100% only in form of voucher. After 72 hours NO REFUND.

In case of medical emergency / Force Majeure (With justification) 24 hours before only voucher after NO REFUND.

Where does the bus leave from?

Normally our buses leave from Avenida Aragón 31 (Mestalla). However, after booking, you will receive all the details with the ticket by email (please check your spam folder in case you receive the email immediately after booking).
