17th anniversary of Valencia Language Exchange!

In 2008, two people (Ninì and Juan) got together to practice Spanish/French, and soon 5 other people joined them for the same reason – that’s how Valencia Language Exchange was created. Thanks to each one of you, the Language Exchange Group is getting bigger and bigger.

A group that used to meet in the living room of a house today gathers in some of the biggest places in town. A group that originally had 7 people today collaborates with the Ministry of Education.

And all of that is just thanks to you! You, who have always supported us, have come even during storms and brought your friends to us. Without you, this wouldn’t be possible.

We would like to thank you for being a part of this project and for making it possible and successful.

This year the anniversary will take place at L’Umbracle. There we will look back to all the experiences of the last 17 years, you will be able to enjoy drinks, concert, good music and talks with amazing people! WE ARE WAITING FOR YOU!

Which events do we organise on Friday?

On Fridays we organise different creative workshops, such as paint and wine, neon painting and a ceramic workshop. We alternate the workshops every week so that we organise each workshop at least once a month.

What is the cost of the events?

Most of the events are free of cost except from our events on Fridays because we organise specials events, such as painting and ceramic classes. Those events requiere some costs for the materials provided by VLE.

How do I register for the events?

You go to our site valencialanguageexchange.com and chose a date that suits you in the calender. You fill in the form of the event and you are ready to participate. You will receive a QR code that our coordinators will check at the beginning of the event.

Is Valencia Language Exchange collaborating with the State Ministry of Education (Conselleria de Educación)?

Yes, Valencia Language Exchange organises events in the collaboration with the State Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports. (conselleria d’educació cultura i esport)
