The Aragonese Pyrenees is a dream destination for nature lovers and outdoor activities. With its breathtaking natural beauty, National Parks, unique landscapes and charming villages, it offers a wide variety of landscapes.
On this trip, you will have the opportunity to enjoy various adventure activities. You can go hiking in the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park, explore ravines and waterfalls, climb peaks and venture on exciting via ferratas. You can also delight yourself with the local gastronomy and discover the charms of the picturesque Aragonese villages.
In addition, you will have the option of optional activities, such as rafting on the Esra River, zip-lining in the Tena Valley, walking along impressive footbridges and enjoying panoramic views from strategic viewpoints.
Most of the Pyrenees is a World Heritage Site for the region’s rich history, culture, Romanesque churches and medieval villages.
Your accommodation will be in a charming 4 star hotel located in Formigal, overlooking the valley. There you will be able to rest and relax after your daily adventures.

Brief program
First day
We will leave very early in the morning towards the Pyrenees.
The first stop is going to be at a stunning high mountain train in the French Pyrenees that will end at the lakes.
Then we would have a couple of hours for rest, followed by an optional visit to the village of Sallent de Gallego. In the evening we will enjoy a beautiful dinner together, get to know each other better and rest for upcoming active days ahead!
Second day
Day 2 is going to start with a trip to the national Park of Ordesa and Monte Perdido. Here you have 2 options: Option 1: would be for the more adventurous: guided Ruta Cola de Caballo Senda de Cazadores (Medium-high level) Option 2: visit the park which has several routes to choose from, followed by a trip to Torla-Ordesa.
Third day
You have 4 options of how to plan your day 3!
1. Via ferrata of Sorrosal,
2. Canyoning (Canyoing)
3. Rafting in Ainsa
4. Visit Ainsa and Boltañana.
In the afternoon you have 3 options:
1.Tyrolean traverse in Tena valley
2: Footbridges of Panticosa
3. Visit two villages Panticosa and Lanuza.
Last day
We start off with Parque Natural de los Valles Occidentales (Astun) to tackle the wonderful Ruta de los Lagos de Ayous. We will go there by chairlift from Astun. In between we will stop at the old station of Canfranc.
After all of the activities, amazing amount of beautiful memories and a pleasant tiredness- we start to return to Valencia.

The Hotel Snö, is one of the best hotels in the area, where we stayed several years and every time a pleasure to stay here, the rooms are very good, has two swimming pools.
The rooms are triple and if you want doubles, you can ask for an extra 7€/pax/night or singles for 50€/night.

2. Via Ferrata : is a climbing activity that uses a system of cables, ladders and anchors fixed to the rock to allow climbers to move along a pre-established route in complete safety.

Afternoon: (choose one)
1. Tena Valley zip line (120km/h): the zip line is an outdoor activity that consists of crossing a void by moving along a suspended rope, usually over a river or a valley.
2. Footbridge of Panticosa / Village of Panticosa.

Torla Ordesa

Ainsa

Footbridges of Panticosa and town :

Sallent de gallego y Lanuza
Discover two of the most beautiful villages in the Pyrenees, surrounded by spectacular scenery and fascinating monuments in its historic center. On the one hand, we find the charming village known as the Spanish ski mecca, where its 16th century Gothic church and medieval bridge stand out. On the other hand, we have Lanuza, famous for its impressive reservoir and for hosting the renowned Pirineo Sur festival. This village, which was completely uninhabited in the 70s, has become the epicenter of the largest festival in the Pyrenees during the month of July. Discover the magic of these two villages and immerse yourself in their historical and natural charm.
Old station of Canfranc
You cannot miss the opportunity to visit the emblematic Antigua Estación Internacional de Canfranc, a unique monument that has been nominated as an Asset of Cultural Interest. Inaugurated on July 28, 1928, this railway station is a true historical treasure. Although the last train stopped at the station 46 years ago, it remains a symbol of the region thanks to its beautiful 19th century French-style palatial architecture. Artouste Train (High Mountain, The highest train in Europe) (Optional activity)
Embark on an unforgettable adventure in the French Pyrenees aboard the famous “Artouste Train”, considered the highest train in Europe. This incredible journey will take you through breathtaking landscapes, culminating in a magnificent lake located at over 2000 meters above sea level. Optional activities In the morning (Rafting Ainsa / Via ferrata / Canyoning Sorrosal).
Imagine rafting on the Esra River in the Pyrenees, the river that runs down from Monte Perdido and passes through the Pineta Valley. an unforgettable experience, an activity that will last almost 4 hours.
Day 2 we will visit Ordesa and Monte Perdido, and if you don’t want to do the pony tail route you can take the bus down to Ainsa and go rafting (optional, and costs 40 €).
The Sorrosal canyon, a gorge carved with two waterfalls of more than 50 meters high with lots of high jumps, slides, rappels, full of adventure and fun. (optional, and costs 50 €)
Via Ferrata del Sorrosal, one of the most beautiful of the entire peninsula. Nestled in the ravine of the Sorrosal Gorge, with the Sorrosal Waterfall and two spectacular waterfalls of more than 50 meters high.
If you do not want any optional activity, you have the 4th option: Visit Ainsa and Bolataña.
Afternoon optional activities (Tena Valley Zip Line or Panticosa Footbridge)
120 kms per hour descending with a rope in Valle de Tena with spectacular views. Live your emotions and feel the adrenaline with an incredible experience. Optional activity (20€)
Panticosa footbridge:
160 meters over water in the viewpoints with the best views of Panticosa and the surrounding mountains, the Mirador O Calvé, that you will never forget, a feeling of walking in the air “Flying I would say”!
On day 3 in the afternoon you can enjoy this optional activity that costs 5€.
Our hotels
We have carefully selected our hotel, combining the natural beauty and services of the area to offer you an unparalleled experience. With magnificent views, imagine waking up in front of imposing mountains and breathing fresh air. Hotel SNÖ stands out as one of the best hotels in the area, and we had a very satisfying stay there last year. The rooms are spacious and there are two swimming pools, one of which is heated. In addition, the delicious breakfast is included in your reservation. The rooms are triple by default, but you can also request a double or single room. For double rooms, there is an additional supplement of 5€ per person per night, while single rooms have an additional cost of 25€ per night. Enjoy all these amenities and make the most of your stay at our hotel.
Day 1 : Departure - High mountain train + visit of lakes + Formigal
We will leave early in the morning and go directly to Laruns (France) for high mountain train optional activity (+25€) that will take you to the lakes of the French Pyrenees. Who doesn’t want activity can enjoy the Fabrèges lake and the nature.
After the train we will go back to the hotel. For those who want, we will visit the village of Sallent de Gallego.
Day 2 : Natural Park of Ordesa and Monte Perdido + Torla Ordesa
We wake up and have breakfast looking at the valley of Tena, it is a spectacle. and we go to the natural park of Ordesa and Monte Perdido.
Once we got there, you have two options:
Option 1 : (For the more adventurous) make a route of medium high level: Cola de caballo (Senda de los cazadores), VERY GOOD ROUTE with spectacular views with medium high level, to do this route you have to be prepared pisicamente and have previous experience in hiking. You will go with a mountain guide. After the route if we still have time you can visit this Torla ordesa.
Option 2 : (For those who want to take the day with more relaxation).
Visit the natural park of ordesa and monte perdido, when you get tired go down to visit the beautiful village of Torla ordesa (also walk to cola de caballo to a route of medium level easy but long (20 kms) you decide!
(*You have to take a bus to go to the starting point of the route and the bus and costs 3 €)

In the afternoon (2 options)
– Tyrolean traverse in Tena valley : Tyrolean traverse is an outdoor activity that consists in crossing a void by moving on a suspended rope, usually over a river or a valley.
Footbridge of Panticosa and village of Panticosa: and again if you don’t want any activity, you have two very nice village to visit : Panticosa and Lanuza.
Day 4 : Lakes route + Canfranc + Astún
We wake up, enjoy a delicious breakfast and check out to begin our exciting day in the Pyrenees National Park. On our way, we will stop at the historic Estación Antigua de Canfranc for a visit and then continue to Astún. Once in Astún, we will head to the starting point of our route using the chairlift (normally free for groups of more than 20 people; otherwise, it has an additional cost of 7-10 euros, depending on the situation).
This day we will explore the impressive Ayous Lakes Route, also known as the 7 Ibones de Astún. We will enjoy spectacular views during the entire route.
Once the route is finished, we will start our return trip to Valencia. We will stop for dinner on the way and at approximately midnight we will arrive in Valencia. Enjoy this itinerary full of natural beauty and unforgettable experiences.
