Calpe is a coastal town located in the Alicante province of Spain. One of the most iconic landmarks of Calpe is the Peñón de Ifach, a massive limestone rock formation rising sharply from the sea. It’s a popular spot for hiking and offers panoramic views of the surrounding area. You can hike to Peñón de Ifach or relax on the beach and discover the old town.
Calpe has a rich history with evidence of human settlement dating back to ancient times. Today, visitors can explore historical sites such as the ruins of the Roman baths and the medieval old town.
