Hiking CABEÇÓ D’OR is probably one of the most emblematic, visited, and highest peaks in the Alicante province, with its 1209 meters of altitude where the views are not only excellent but also impressive. A 360-degree view of the Alicante province and almost all the high peaks of the Valencian community.
The literal meaning of the name could be “Gold head” or “treasure mountain” (D’or in Valencian), but no, it comes from “Water UR” in Arabic.
The difficulty level is Medium High, so you have to be physically fit to undertake this trek.
Cabeçó d’or is a protected natural area, so apart from incomparable views you will also see the protected birds, such and Aguila real (Royal Eagle) * Take care during the hike.

Meeting time 08:15, departure at 08:30 from the meeting point: Avenida Aragon 31.
11:00 Arrival and Hike
Arriving around 10:30 /11, A small break and start hike. On the half way we will make lunch break
Finish trek
When we finish the trek we will go the a near city to have sme drink (jijona)
18:00 Back to Valencia
A nice hike with new/old friends, but this is the time to say goodbye and go back to Valencia
