Calpe is a coastal town located in the Alicante province of Spain. The town is known for its stunning beaches, particularly the sandy stretches of Playa de la Fossa and Playa del Arenal-Bol.

One of the most iconic landmarks of Calpe is the Peñón de Ifach, a massive limestone rock formation rising sharply from the sea. It’s a popular spot for hiking and offers panoramic views of the surrounding area. The Penyal d’Ifac Natural Park is a protected area, home to diverse flora and fauna, including various seabird species.

09:00 Departure from Valencia

Departure from Valencia is at 9:00 am. We meet at 08:45 in front of Mestalla (Avenida de Argon, 31)

10:00 Arrival in Calpe (city and hike)

Arrival around 10:00. We will start the hike. People who do not want to participate in the hike, can explore the city center.

 

After the hike

After the hike (optional) to Peñon Ifach, we will join the others at the beach and relax.

18:00 Departure to Valencia

We will meet at the bus 15 minutes before heading back to Valencia.

Calpe has a rich history with evidence of human settlement dating back to ancient times. Today, visitors can explore historical sites such as the ruins of the Roman baths and the medieval old town.

The town is also known for its fishing industry, and you’ll find a bustling fish market where you can purchase freshly caught seafood.

The hike to the Peñon de Ifach consists of a 332 m high rocky mass from where we will enjoy a breathtaking view of the city.We will go with a professional mountain guide from Calpe. It will take 2h30. We will take a break on the top of the mountain.

How can you book the trip?

You can book on the website or at our office in Plaza Honduras, 26 from 09:30 to 14:30.

Do I have to book in advance or can I pay on the day of travel?

Yes, it is necessary to book in advance, as we cannot guarantee that there will be places available on that day.

What are the cancellation policies?

Cancellation policy: Until one week before, 100% refund in form of money/voucher whatever you prefer. From 1 week to 72 hours before  100% only in form of voucher. After 72 hours NO REFUND.

In case of medical emergency / Force Majeure (With justification) 24 hours before only voucher after NO REFUND.

Where does the bus leave from?

Normally our buses leave from Avenida Aragón 31 (Mestalla). However, after booking, you will receive all the details with the ticket by email (please check your spam folder in case you receive the email immediately after booking).
