Hiking: Castillo de Chirel
Located in Cortes de Pallás, in the Umbría de Chirel, we find a spectacular hiking route. Hiking up to the Castle of Chirel, we will enjoy the amazing landscape that this place has to offer. Impressive viewpoints and the rich cultural heritage make this path a unique experience. Upon the hill, we eventually find the Castle. It was a very important building and a key place for strategic control of the trade of the Júcar route. Dating back to the 15th century, there are evidence that this fortress was one of the most important in this area. Today, the castle is in severe danger, so that it is undergoing big restorations.
Optional Boat Ride / Visit Cofrentes
Besides this spectacular hiking route, there is another reason why you should come with us on this day: We are going to make a boat ride! 30 Kilometres of discovering the stunning landscape while enjoying our time on the boat. During the 1,5 hour long ride we can take a break from the hike, have some lunch, and get to know each other. It is for sure a very special extra on this marvelous day!
Visit Cofrentes
Cofrentes, the only Valencian volcanic land with great natural heritage located only 103 km from Valencia. The town, apart from multi-adventure activities, offers an Islamic architecture with very narrow streets and very interesting buildings such as Casa Cofrentina, Castillo de Cofrentes and there is a Volcano route if someone wants to do it.

Programme
09:00 Leaving Valencia
Meeting point is at Av. Aragón, 31 (in front of Mestalla)
11:00 Arrival and start the hike
We will start the hike at 11:00: 10km (5 one way and 5 to go back).
13:30 Arrival to the Castle
On the half way we will arrive at the castle. We will make the lunch break and will start coming back.
16:00 Boat Ride / Cofrentes
At 16:00 We will have the boat ride or we will go to Visit Cofrentes village.
18:00 Going back to Valencia
Both group at 18:00 will come back to Valencia.
Appropiate shoes (Hiking or sport shoes, but please no slippers)
Water (minimum 2 liters)
Food (There is no possibility to buy, so please bring something)
Sunscreen
Swimsuit, towel etc.

Protocolo Coronavirus VLE
In order to travel and enjoy safely we will have to follow these protocols to travel with VLE / CoAcad. First of all, if you feel some symptoms like fever / cough / respiratory problem you should not participate to the trip. Use of a mask will be mandatory at all times on the bus. The bus will be sanitized before and after each service. Before boarding the bus, temperature control will be done. Do not print a ticket to avoid handling paper, show us the QR code on your mobile or just tell us your name and surname. During the guided tour everybody will wear the mask.

If you cannot join the trip, the following conditions apply:
Until Monday (20:00): 100% devolución. (5 days before)
Until Tuesday (20:00): 80% devolución. (4 days before)
Until Wednesday (20:00): 70% Devolución (3 days before)
Until Thursday (20:00): 50% Devolución. (2 days before)
After Thursday, No devolución (1 day before)
Special Coronavirus Protocol. If you feel bad: Fever, cough or Respirate problem , Please don't come at the meeting point. If you show us a a valid paper proof and we will return you in form of voucher. Same apply in case of Emergency(illness, injury or force majeure)
These devolution doesn’t include the service fee.
Important info: We will always stay as a group, but if you want to explore on your own, it is possible. You will need to inform one of the organisers and be on time at the meeting places on the time of departures.
The weather is going to be good on the day of the trip. In case of bad weather, the Trip will be postponed/ cancelled or extra precautions will be taken. (In case you cannot join due to cancelation or postponement of the date, your money will be returned to you).
For every trip, there is always a minimum and a maximum number of participants.
