Hello Hikers,
This time we are going to a magical spot located in the Corbera mountain range. We are going to visit the spectacular natural cave of La Ribera Baixa: “La Cueva de la Galera” and during our route we will enjoy spectacular views.
Located 410m above sea level, the cave is a natural wonder where traces of humans, belonging to the Bronze Age, were found.
The cave has vegetation at the entrance and a lot of humidity due to the depth and lack of sunlight inside. It is still possible to see stalagmites (on the floor) and stalactites (on the ceiling), which beautifully decorate the cave.
From the entrance, you can also see spectacular views of, for example, Favara, the surrounding rice fields, the Albufera, and the nearby coastline, the beaches of Cullera… The cave, as can be seen in social media and from the comments of those who have visited it, is easy to access and is visited by all kinds of visitors.
Isn’t a nice way to spend a day in the nature while getting know many people from all our the word. Practicing your language skills and making new friends.
