Its old town was declared as a Site of Cultural Interest featuring various restored buildings, streets, alleys, churches, plazas and the ruins of the castle all filled with history and tradition.
Culla stands out by its unique geography and sharp contrasts resulted by the elevation of the city which ranges from 395 m to 1,121 m at the town center. The city is characterized by steep slopes, deep ravines, caves and potholes.
