Imagine riding a bike from top of a hill to bottom. It is a plain road and the level is easy/beginner. You just have to know how to ride a bike and we will finish with kayaking in the river.
The Ojos Negros greenway is one of the most fun and easy activities for cycling in the Valencia Community. We will start from Barracas, a village located at 1000 meters above sea level and we will finish in Navajas, famous for its waterfall “el Salto de la Novia”.
On the way we will do an activity. What can be better than something that goes above the water? That means KAYAK in the river Palancia.
Program:
9:00 Departure from Valencia
Meeting point Avenida Aragon 31 (in front of Mestalla)
10:00 Arrival to Barracas
The journey will take 1h approximately. 30 minutes break to organise the distribution of bicycles and security protocols and we will start the trail.
13:30 Arrival to Jérica
We will arrive to beautiful Jérica, time to lunch and visit the ancient medieval town with narrow streets, big Múdejar tower bell and small tower with stunning views to the river.
14:30 Back to the bikes!
We’ll meet at Jérica main square and head towards the Kayaking place!
17:30 Arrival in Navajas
After the biking, we will go the beautiful place of Navajas to see the waterfalls
18:30 Heading back to Valencia
The 42 km to be done are tremendously fun due to its ease and slight slope. It was a long mining train track that transported the coal from the mines of Teruel to the sea in Sagunto.
The route is linear, 42 km downhill by bike. We will start in Barracas and finish in Navajas. The rent of the bicycles and insurance is included in the price. However, if you want to bring your own bike, make sure you have a good bike and insurance.
Kayak en Pantano del Regajo – Navajas (Optional)
In between our bike tour, we will go Kayaking in the river Palancia. You shouldn’t miss this opportunity as going on the water with the Kayak is a lot of fun and a great way to see the nature around you. It is easy to learn and almost everybody can do it!

Cancellation policy:
If you cannot join the trip, the following conditions apply:
Until Monday (20:00): 100% devolución. (5 days before)
Until Tuesday (20:00): 80% devolución. (4 days before)
Until Wednesday (20:00): 70% Devolución (3 days before)
Until Thursday (20:00): 50% Devolución. (2 days before)
After Thursday, No devolución (1 day before)
Special Coronavirus Protocol. If you feel bad: Fever, cough or Respirate problem , Please don't come at the meeting point. If you show us a a valid paper proof and we will return you in form of voucher. Same apply in case of Emergency(illness, injury or force majeure)
These devolution doesn’t include the service fee.
Important info: We will always stay as a group, but if you want to explore on your own, it is possible. You will need to inform one of the organisers and be on time at the meeting places on the time of departures.
The weather is going to be good on the day of the trip. In case of bad weather, the Trip will be postponed/ cancelled or extra precautions will be taken. (In case you cannot join due to cancelation or postponement of the date, your money will be returned to you).
For every trip, there is always a minimum and a maximum number of participants.
