Congost (Gorge) of Mont-Rebei
A natural paradise of dizzying cliffs and breathtaking views!

Between the spectacular vertical walls over 500 meters high, this stunning gorge was carved by the Noguera Ribagorzana River in the heart of the Montsec mountain range. Located between Lleida and Huesca, the Congost (Gorge) of Mont-Rebei marks the natural border between Aragón and Catalonia and is one of the last great unspoiled areas of the Pre-Pyrenees.

Along the route, you’ll cross a hanging bridge, walk along trails carved into solid rock (no railings—just you and the mountain), and enjoy a pure adventure experience surrounded by cliffs, turquoise water, and silence broken only by nature.

Included: Transport + Accommodation + Breakfasts + Dinners + Mountain Guide + Organization.

Montfalcó Hostel

Feel at home in one of the most charming corners of the Pyrenees. We offer private and shared rooms, perfect for solo travelers and groups also. Experience the authentic mountain atmosphere!

We have rooms for 2 and 6 people.

Congost (Gorge) of Mont-Rebei

A stunning natural treasure located between Huesca and Lleida, carved by the Noguera Ribagorçana River through the Montsec mountains. A canyon with dreamlike landscapes, it’s the perfect weekend escape away from crowded tourist spots. The most popular starting point is La Masieta.

Kayaking in Mont Rebei

The Canelles Reservoir is home to natural wonders like the Mont-Rebei Gorge, the Finestres Wall, and the Fet Gorge — and it’s up to you which ones to discover!
We begin at the Montfalcó hostel, where you’ll receive all the necessary equipment. From there, we walk to the dock (just 2 km away) for a quick introductory session on gear handling, safety, and tips to enjoy the experience to the fullest.

Via Ferrata in Mont Rebei

Our adventure starts at the Montfalcó dock. Although the mountain is close, we’ll begin by crossing the reservoir in a kayak (15–20 minutes) to reach the base of the mountain.

From there, we’ll hike up the trail to the Ermita de la Pertusa (2–3 hours), where we’ll take a break to rest and enjoy the stunning views. Then, we’ll return along the same path and kayak back to Montfalcó.
