Hiking Montanejos
Unimaginably beautiful & the most famous destination among foreign students: Montanejos.
It is famous for its natural beauty and for the waters springs that have a constant temperature all year round of 20º-25ºC. So you can bathe even in winter.
There is a legend that says the Moorish king, Abu Zeit, built these baths so that the queens could have the bath there and never lost their beauty.
Only Montanejos:
People who do not want to hike can just relax near the river and the water strands.
Hiking (Montanejos + Hiking):
We will enjoy the hot springs, have a picnic and those who want to hike are welcome to join us for a hiking route of about 9 km with an easy medium level and a duration of about 4 hours.
During the hike, we will enjoy a great view of the city and the Mijares River, as well as a spillway with a capacity of 41,000 liters per second.
The activity lasts about 4 hours.

Distance: 9 -10 km
Elevation Gain: 498, & Max elevation: 585 m
Duration: 4-5 hours

9:00 Departure from Valencia
Meeting at 8:45 in front of Mestalla
Arriving & Hiking
We will arrive at Montanejos and we will start the hiking tour. Those who don’t want to do the hiking can remain at the hot springs and wait that the rest of the group finishes the hiking.
Relaxing time
After hike, we will relax in the hot springs. We can have a bath maybe, picnic and some drinks all.
18:30 Back to Valencia
Meeting at 18:15 and go back to Valencia at 18:30.
Beach material: Towel, Sun cream, some volleys, frisbees, etc..
Food and drinks: bring food and water for the whole day and also beer!
Hiking: bring hiking shoes if you want to hike
Single ticket (until wednesday): 26 € After Wednesday: 28€
Group of 5 or more (until wednesday): 25€ After Wednesday: 27€

Protocolo Coronavirus
In order to travel and enjoy safely, we will have to follow these protocols to travel with VLE / CoAcad. 1. First of all, if you feel some symptoms like fever / cough / respiratory problem you should not go to the meeting point. 2. Use of a mask will be mandatory on the bus. 3. Before boarding the bus, temperature control could be done. 4. We will give you a disinfecting wipe so you can safely clean your seat. 5. Do not print the ticket to avoid touching, show us the QR code on your mobile or just tell us your name and surname.
