Pasarela de Relleu or you can call it “Caminito del Rey Alicantino” (“King’s Path of Alicante”), is very similar to the famous “Caminito del Rey” (“King’s Path”) in Malaga. It has a wooden walkway and a glass viewpoint in the Amadorio river canyon. The footbridge route is easy, but not suitable for people who have vertigo, and it is not a cement path.
This route brings us closer to one of the best-kept treasures of Relleu: the 17th-century reservoir. Since 1950, after the construction of the Amadorio dam, it was unused and abandoned. in the year 2022, the Relleu City Council has promoted the installation of this wooden walkway that allows us to enter the narrow gorge of the Amadorio ravine.
