Unfortunately we have to announce the cancellation of the excursion to Paterna caves and Craft beer factory scheduled for Saturday 01/09/20, due to the new restrictions that prevent us from visiting the factory all together (more than 4 people at the same time).
A year ago “Les Coves de Paterna”, became famous for being one of the strangest and most original locations of Pedro Almodóvar’s latest film “Pain and Glory”. The Paterna caves consist of a type of dwellings excavated on land with special geological characteristics, and located in transitional nuclei between the orchard and the dry land. They were built taking advantage of the terrain topography in the slopes of the small mountain foothills, to which is added the presence of relatively loose soils.Regarding their origin, it is stated that they would be introduced by the Moors, since similar cave typologies appear in Andalusia.
ÖSTIA CRAFT BEER FACTORY
Once the visit to the caves is over, we will go to the Valencian craft beer factory Östia.
All their beers are made entirely handcrafted, following the methods of a lifetime. They only use the highest quality raw materials, and we are sure we will love them. Afterwards, we will have the possibility to eat or have some tapas at the bar next to the factory.
Open beer bar is included in price !!
