Ravine in Bicorp (Barranco Moreno)

From €16
Hiking, Views, Cave Paitings Sunday 01/09/19

Barranco Moreno is a beautiful ravine, located in the region of the Canal de Navarres, that you cannot miss! It begins in the town of Bicorp, between the Escalona River and the Caroche Massif and it’s surrounded by a meander that forms the Ravine (Barranco Moreno).

It consists of two totally different plans: one to reach the furthest point, theshelters with cave paintings and the other, the return plan, mostly by the river which gives us beautiful corners, pools and landscapes.

In addition to the shelters, dated in about 7,500 years old, in the one of Calicanto, we can have visible samples of schematic rock art. We will also visit two house caves, one in perfect condition and one that is falling apart. In Bicorp we also find two fountains and a laundry.
