Font Roja was declared a Natural Park by the Generalitat Valenciana in 1987, making it the first natural park in the Valencian Community. Renowned for its exceptional biodiversity, Font Roja is home to over 2,400 cataloged species and showcases one of the finest examples of a mixed Mediterranean forest. This stunning park features species such as maples, ash trees, and Valencian oaks.

Located between the towns of Alcoy and Ibi, Font Roja is one of the best-preserved natural areas in the region. It boasts diverse ecosystems of high ecological and landscape value, serving as a Special Protection Area for Birds (ZEPA) and a Site of Community Interest (SCI).

08:30 Departure from Valencia

We meet at 08:30 in front of Mestalla (Avenida de Aragon, 31). A small introduction to group and we leave. 

Arrival and start of the hike

Once we arrive, we’ll stop to have brunch and start the hike. In the middle of the hike we will take a break and have lunch.

End of the hike

Once we finish the route we can have a drink in a nearby village or city and head back to Valencia.

How can you book the trip?

You can book on the website or at our office in Plaza Honduras, 26 from 09:30 to 14:30.

Do I have to book in advance or can I pay on the day of travel?

Yes, it is necessary to book in advance, as we cannot guarantee that there will be places available on that day.

What are the cancellation policies?

Cancellation policy: Until one week before, 100% refund in form of money/voucher whatever you prefer. From 1 week to 72 hours before  100% only in form of voucher. After 72 hours NO REFUND.

In case of medical emergency / Force Majeure (With justification) 24 hours before only voucher after NO REFUND.

Where does the bus leave from?

Normally our buses leave from Avenida Aragón 31 (Mestalla). However, after booking, you will receive all the details with the ticket by email (please check your spam folder in case you receive the email immediately after booking).
