Since 2007, Valencia Language Exchange (VLE) has been bringing people together through languages — always as a free, non-profit community built on respect, culture, and meaningful connections.
Our goal has always been clear: to create a safe and welcoming space ONLY for people who genuinely want to practice languages, discover new cultures, and build international friendships.
As our community grows, maintaining this quality and atmosphere requires more organization, resources, and commitment. Until last year, we received a small amount of public support, which is no longer available as funding priorities have shifted to affected areas.
To keep VLE sustainable and continue offering well-organized, diverse events, we are introducing a small annual membership fee of 5,99€ per year. With it, you will receive 4€ vouchers (2* 2€) use on one of our trips and events and also 1€ refundable when you give us back the plastic card. So in reality you are paying 1€.
This membership is not about profit — it’s about sustainability and commitment. It helps us ensure that those who join truly value language exchange, cultural connection, and respectful interaction.
We believe this step will strengthen our community and allow us to continue sharing languages, cultures, and friendships in the best possible way.

How does it work?
You fill a form, and our algorithm will connect you with others who has same interest and preference as yours who live in your same area and who has more or less your age.
You can meet them whenever and wherever you want, you can meet one to one or make a small group.
Membership is 3,99/Month and cancel anytime. It has all benefits as VIP membership until you don’t cancel.
