Itinerary

Wednesday night 17/07

We will meet at 20:45 at the meeting point in Avenida de Aragón (in front of Mestalla) to leave Valencia for Oporto. We leave Valencia at 21:00.

Thursday 18/07 : Porto

Upon arrival in Porto we will have a guided tour (optional) and after lunch we will check-in at our hostel. Afterwards, we will have free time to discover the city.

Friday 18/07 Coimbra, Fátima & Lisbon

At 9:00 we leave Porto for Coimbra and have lunch there. After lunch, we leave for Fatima. After we will go to Lisbon and check in our hostel.

Saturday 08/04: Lisbon + Cabo da Roca(Optional )

We will have the whole day for Lisbon in the afternoon, we will have an optional excursion to Sintra and Cabo da Roca and then back to Lisbon.

Sunday 09/04 Lisbon + Salamanca

ON sunday evening we will leave for Valencia, If we have time we will stop in Salamanca and discover the city.

Monday 10/07 Back to Valencia

With loads of memories in our bags, We will arrive in the morning to our city.

PORTO
One of Portugal’s most famous tourist cities, Porto is known for its stunning Clérigos Tower, offering a panoramic view of the city. The city is famous for its wine, with two of its most iconic neighborhoods being La Ribiera and Barrio Do Barredo. For history enthusiasts, Porto offers several churches and monasteries. A must-see is the district with old buildings, balconies with clothes hanging out, and local shops, reflecting the authenticity and soul of the city.

COIMBRA
South of Porto lies Coimbra, a charming university city known for its historical core and cultural heritage. Apart from its university, the city features ancient buildings, churches, and lush gardens, including the Botanical Garden founded in 1773. A must-visit is the New Cathedral of Coimbra, built between 1598 and 1698 in Mannerist and Baroque styles, showcasing the city’s rich history.

FATIMA
Fatima, a small town in central Portugal, is a major European pilgrimage destination due to the apparitions of the Virgin Mary to three shepherds. Despite its religious tourism roots, Fatima offers a variety of services including hotels, restaurants, and historical attractions. The town’s economy thrives on religious tourism, but it also offers plenty for all visitors to enjoy.

LISBON
Known as the “City of Light,” Lisbon is one of Europe’s most popular cities. It boasts stunning monuments, historical buildings, and breathtaking viewpoints like Portas de Sol, where you can enjoy breakfast with a view. A visit to the Castle of Saint George offers a glimpse into the city’s fascinating history. The historic yellow trams are a signature feature of Lisbon, making for a fun and picturesque ride through the city.

SINTRA
Just 25 kilometers from Lisbon, Sintra is home to the breathtaking Palacio da Pena, a 19th-century royal residence and UNESCO World Heritage Site. The town’s fairytale palaces and beautiful gardens make it one of Europe’s most romantic destinations. Visitors can explore not only the palaces but also the Natural Park surrounding the town, featuring small lakes and ponds.

CABO DA ROCA
Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of Europe, offers a stunning 144-meter-high cape. It is a popular tourist destination with a stone obelisk marking the geographical coordinates, an 18th-century lighthouse, and a souvenir shop, making it an unforgettable stop on any trip.

EXCURSIONS ON THE WAY

SALAMANCA
Salamanca is renowned for its grand cathedrals, the historic Plaza Mayor, Spain’s oldest and most famous university, and the Casa de las Conchas. After exploring these iconic landmarks, indulge in the traditional cuisine at the city’s many restaurants, where you’ll find a rich variety of wines, ham, cheeses, broths, and roasts.
