Alcalá de Júcar

Come with us to the beautiful city of Alcalá de Júcar! This very instagrammable village was declared a Historic-Artistic Site by Royal Decree in 1982, so you can imagine how beautiful it must be there. It is located at the banks of the Júcar River in which is a lot of fun to take a refreshing bath in when it is hot. In the village you will love to walk through the narrow streets, climb up the steep stairs to the castle and explore the caves and little gardens on the route.

We will have 2 different activities in the morning, you can choose what you would like to do.

The activities are: 

  1. Playa de Júcar (enjoy your day on the river beach)

  2. Hiking 

After our activities we will have Lunch and then go all together to the Parque Natural de Júcar, where we will enjoy the afternoon. You can go swimming, sunbath and enjoy your day! At 17:00 we will have a guided tour through the city of Alcalá de Júcar. 

Hiking

This beautiful hiking route starts and ends at the beach of the Júcar river, going circular along the river. We come along a little picnic area, going up some stairs to get even better views on our surroundings! On our way we will come across a church square, where we can contemplate a curious sculpture that was build to pay homage to a blacksmith forger. Among the pinetrees we walk to the viewpoint next to the Noguera ravine. After a little bit more of walking, we will come back to our starting point at the beach. It is a beautiful and easy hiking trail which is perfect if you want to get in touch with nature.

09:00 Departure from Valencia

Departure from Valencia is at 9:00 am. We meet at 08:45 in front of Mestalla (Avenida de Argon, 31)

11:00 Arriving and start of the activites

Leaving at 9:00, we will arrive around 11:00 and we will start our hiking route. People who don’t want to do the hike can go to the Playa del Júcar.

14:30 Lunch

After our hike we will have some time for lunch.

16:00 Guided tour

We will have a guided tour at the end of the day in the city of Júcar!

18:30 Coming back to Valencia

Around 18:30 we go to our Bus to go back to Valencia.

How can you book the trip?

You can book on the website or at our office in Plaza Honduras, 26 from 09:30 to 14:30.

Do I have to book in advance or can I pay on the day of travel?

Yes, it is necessary to book in advance, as we cannot guarantee that there will be places available on that day.

What are the cancellation policies?

Cancellation policy: Until one week before, 100% refund in form of money/voucher whatever you prefer. From 1 week to 72 hours before  100% only in form of voucher. After 72 hours NO REFUND.

In case of medical emergency / Force Majeure (With justification) 24 hours before only voucher after NO REFUND.

Where does the bus leave from?

Normally our buses leave from Avenida Aragón 31 (Mestalla). However, after booking, you will receive all the details with the ticket by email (please check your spam folder in case you receive the email immediately after booking).
