The highlight of the Mediterranean region: Altea! Considered to be the most beautiful and most photographed town on Costa Blanca, it inspired many artists and painters for decades.
The beautiful old town, its narrow cobbled streets, stairs, alleys decorated with hundreds of colorful plants, that you can’t resist taking photos of, and the views will remain forever in your memories. And don’t forget Altea’s beaches. They are so beautiful that they have inspired many many famous artists and painters.
What to see in Altea: Old Town, Church of Nuestra Señora del Consuelo, Mirador de los Cronistas de España, and of course its beaches in summer.
Calpe
Everyone knows this famous city – you should have visited it when in Valencia! This beautiful city has incredible sandy beaches, transparent waters, and impressive views over the Peñón de Ifach. If it is too hot to climb the rock, you can still enjoy the day in one of the many beach bars next to the city’s monument. You can also go to the pretty city center and stroll through its narrow streets, visiting the local shops. It is not surprising that Calpe is so popular with both Spanish and foreigners.

If you don’t want to hike you can enjoy the day on the beach, visiting the old town.

09:00 Leaving Valencia
We will meet at 08:45 at Avenida Aragon 31 and leave Valencia at 09:00.
11:00 Arrival in Calpe
We will arrive to Calpe and have free time to discover the city, beach and have lunch. If you want you can go to the Peñon de Ifach.
15:00 Going to Altea
We will meet at the bus, go to Altea and will arrive at 15:30. We will have a guided tour in English.
18:00 Going back to Valencia
We will meet at the bus and go back to Valencia.
Food and water: Calpe and Altea have plenty of bars and restaurants but we suggest you take some food and water from home so that you don’t spend too much money and have more flexibility and time to enjoy.
Wear light clothing and comfortable shoes.
