Baptism climbing– what is it?
Essentially, it is a physical activity in which participants utilize their own bodies to surmount various obstacles, regardless of their height. Typically, these obstacles consist of natural stone walls, although occasionally artificial climbing walls may also be employed. Engaging in this activity offers a valuable escape from the pressures of your daily routine, allowing you to tap into the carefree spirit of your inner child who harbored a desire to climb trees and conquer high rocks. This experience not only reconnects you with nature but also ensures that you depart with enduring and delightful memories to carry back home.
You don’t have to worry about your safety. Before, during, and after each movement and climbing technique, our guides and instructors will instruct you on how to climb safely. Their extensive experience ensures that you receive valuable advice throughout the entire experience. Included in the package are also all the necessary technical materials required for the activity, such as helmets, climbing harnesses, climbing shoes, and more. Additionally, participants will receive complimentary photos capturing memorable moments from the activity.
Difficulty: It is not necessary to have previous experience, but you must be physically fit and must not have vertigo.
Time: The activity will last more or less 4 hours.
The place: It is located in Mascarat.
Program:
9:00 Departure from Valencia
Please, make sure to be there 15 minutes before we leave.
Meeting point: Av. Aragón, 31.
11:00 Arriving to Mascarat
Once we arrive in Mascarat , we’ll start the climbing activity.
After the climbing activity we are going to have a drink and return to Valencia
18:00 Back to Valencia
Meeting at the bus.
Appropriate footwear (mountain or sport)
gloves if you have (normal for example bike gloves)
small backpack
light but warm clothing
sunscreen
water and food/snacks
