Calpe is a coastal town located in the Spanish province of Alicante. One of Calpe’s most iconic landmarks is the Peñón de Ifach, a huge limestone rock formation that rises dramatically from the sea. It is a popular hiking destination and offers panoramic views of the surrounding area. You can hike to the top of the Peñón de Ifach, relax on the beach, or explore the old town.
Calpe has a rich history, with evidence of human settlements dating back to ancient times. Today, visitors can explore historical sites such as the ruins of the Roman baths and the medieval old town.
Villajoyosa is a town located in the province of Alicante, in the Valencian Community. This beautiful and historic town is known for its colourful houses, which give it its unique charm.
You will find a wonderful beach, as well as a charming historic centre where you can stroll around, visit the market, which is open every day, or explore one of the many small shops.
Don’t forget to visit the harbour, where you will find many of Villajoyosa’s traditional fishing boats, as the town was once a fishing village!
