Teruel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is known as the “town of Mudéjar” for its numerous Moorish-influenced buildings, all part of the Mudéjar Architecture of Aragon. Located in the province of Teruel in Aragon, this charming city is famous for its unique architecture, including intricate towers and palaces. Teruel is also recognized for its challenging climate, its delicious jamón serrano (cured ham), pottery, and archaeological sites. It is home to some of the oldest dinosaur remains in the Iberian Peninsula and hosts famous events, making it a cultural and historical treasure.
