Located in Cortes de Pallás, in the Umbría de Chirel, we find a spectacular hiking route. Hiking up to the Castle of Chirel, we will enjoy the amazing landscape that this place has to offer. Impressive viewpoints and the rich cultural heritage make this path a unique experience.

Upon the hill, we eventually find the Castle. It was a very important building and a key place for strategic control of the trade of the Júcar route. Dating back to the 15th century, there are evidence that this fortress was one of the most important in this area. Today, the castle is in severe danger, so that it is undergoing big restorations.

09:00 Departure from Valencia

Departure from Valencia is at 9 am. We meet at 08:45 in front of Mestalla (Avenida de Argon, 31)

11:00 Arrival and start the hike

We will start the hike at 11:00: 10km (5 one way and 5 to go back).

13:30 Arrival to the Castle

On the half way we will arrive at the castle. We will make the lunch break and will start coming back.

16:00 Boat Ride / Cofrentes

At 16:00 We will have the boat ride or we will go to Visit Cofrentes village.

18:00 Going back to Valencia

Both group at 18:00 will come back to Valencia.

How can you book the trip?

You can book on the website or at our office in Plaza Honduras, 26 from 09:30 to 14:30.

Do I have to book in advance or can I pay on the day of travel?

Yes, it is necessary to book in advance, as we cannot guarantee that there will be places available on that day.

What are the cancellation policies?

Cancellation policy: Until one week before, 100% refund in form of money/voucher whatever you prefer. From 1 week to 72 hours before 100% only in form of voucher. After 72 hours NO REFUND.

In case of medical emergency / Force Majeure (With justification) 24 hours before only voucher after NO REFUND.

Where does the bus leave from?

Normally our buses leave from Avenida Aragón 31 (Mestalla). However, after booking, you will receive all the details with the ticket by email (please check your spam folder in case you receive the email immediately after booking).
