Guardamar de Segura is famous for its stunning sand dunes, beautiful beaches, and impressive castle. With 11 kilometers of coastline declared a Place of Community Interest (SCI), it is one of the most beautiful natural spots on the Costa Blanca, with 80% of its territory protected. The Pinada de Guardamar, the most spectacular dune forest in the Spanish Mediterranean, is a highlight. Its small fishing port at the mouth of the Segura River, along with nearby salt lakes, are important sanctuaries for migratory birds.

Located in the southern part of the Valencian Community, Guardamar offers a variety of beaches, from the lively Platja Centre to the secluded Platja els Tossals. Surrounded by dunes, palm groves, and eucalyptus trees, it is also known for the cultivation of ñora peppers and the fishing of prized shrimp.

Guardamar Castle
Perched on a rocky hill, the Guardamar Castle offers panoramic views of the entire coastal bay and the Bajo Segura region. Visitors can explore walking trails around the castle, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a sunset or sunrise.

09:00 Departure from Valencia

Departure from Valencia is at 9:00 am. We meet at 08:45 in front of Mestalla (Avenida de Argon, 31)

12:00 Arrival

We will arrive around 12:00 in Guardamar del Segura. Panoramic tour by coach from the entrance to the town towards the port

Guided tour of the docks, the marina, Segura River, through the pine forest, famous dunes and the Els tossals beach. Also if possible (covid) we will visit archeological remains (Rabita Califal and Phoenicia)

14:30

Visit Alfonso XIII Park

15:00

Free time: picnic and beach.

18:30 Heading back to Valencia

After a beautiful day, it is time to go back and head to bus to Valencia. We meet at the bus 15 minutes beforehand.

How can you book the trip?

You can book on the website or at our office in Plaza Honduras, 26 from 09:30 to 14:30.

Do I have to book in advance or can I pay on the day of travel?

Yes, it is necessary to book in advance, as we cannot guarantee that there will be places available on that day.

What are the cancellation policies?

Cancellation policy: Until one week before, 100% refund in form of money/voucher whatever you prefer. From 1 week to 72 hours before 100% only in form of voucher. After 72 hours NO REFUND.

In case of medical emergency / Force Majeure (With justification) 24 hours before only voucher after NO REFUND.

Where does the bus leave from?

Normally our buses leave from Avenida Aragón 31 (Mestalla). However, after booking, you will receive all the details with the ticket by email (please check your spam folder in case you receive the email immediately after booking).
