This time, we are heading to the beautiful Peak of Espadán, renowned for its unique characteristics, including the ancient cork oak forests and dense coastal vegetation.

About the Hike

The circular route is simple, though we will encounter some slopes and rocky terrain. Our goal is to reach Pico de Espadán, the highest point of the route at 1,100 meters, offering a magnificent 360° panoramic view. From the summit, you can see other peaks like Penyagolosa, Puntal de l’Aljub, Benalí, as well as the Mediterranean Sea and Sierra Calderona.

What do you bring to the trip?

Food and drink: Bring food and drinks from home because we will walk a lot and we will not stop at any restaurant.
Suitable shoes: sports or mountain shoes, but please no slippers.
Clothes: swimwear, comfortable clothes / sports clothing. Do not forget to bring a jacket because it might get cold.

09:00 Departure from Valencia

Departure from Valencia is at 9 am. We meet at 08:45 in front of Mestalla (Avenida de Argon, 31)

10:30 Arrival

We will arrive at Almedijar around 10:30 and we will take a short break before starting the hike

11:00 The hike

We will start the hike around 11:00 and mid way, we will take a break for lunch

End of the route

Ending the trail and refreshing up

18:00 Heading back to Valencia

We will meet at the bus at 17:45 to head back to Valencia.

How can you book the trip?

You can book on the website or at our office in Plaza Honduras, 26 from 09:30 to 14:30.

Do I have to book in advance or can I pay on the day of travel?

Yes, it is necessary to book in advance, as we cannot guarantee that there will be places available on that day.

What are the cancellation policies?

Cancellation policy: Until one week before, 100% refund in form of money/voucher whatever you prefer. From 1 week to 72 hours before 100% only in form of voucher. After 72 hours NO REFUND.

In case of medical emergency / Force Majeure (With justification) 24 hours before only voucher after NO REFUND.

Where does the bus leave from?

Normally our buses leave from Avenida Aragón 31 (Mestalla). However, after booking, you will receive all the details with the ticket by email (please check your spam folder in case you receive the email immediately after booking).
