The Labyrinth is located near Peñiscola in the province of Castellón. The maze is huge, covering more than 7000 square meters, making it not only the biggest in Spain but also one of the largest in all of Europe.
Peñiscola, “City in the Sea“, is a mix of an Island and peninsula. It is surrounded by water on three, which was the reason that Iberian, Roman, Carthaginians, Arabs, etc.. wanted to dominate the city.

What makes the labyrinth special? Well, picture this – over 4000 plants create these cool green paths that wind and twist around like a real maze. It’s not just a bunch of plants, though; the maze itself is over 3 kilometers long, so when you walk through it, you’re in for an unforgettable adventure of twists and turns. It’s not just a maze, it’s a nature and architecture masterpiece seamlessly blending into the awesome scenery of this Spanish town.
One of the main attractions of the city is the castle, a marvelous middle age monument castle, constructed by Knights Templars on the top of the city. It is so impressive that Papa Luna has converted it into his residence.
When you are walking in the streets of Peñiscola, it seems like you are on a greek island and not to forget, Peñiscola is also famous for many movie/tv show locations, like Game of Thrones, El Cid, Chiringuito de Pepe etc.. When you are in Peñiscola you must try sea food paella or cañadillas.
