VLE always getting better

New membership for VLE

Since 2007, Valencia Language Exchange (VLE) has been bringing people together through languages — always as a free, non-profit community built on respect, culture, and meaningful connections.

Our goal has always been clear: to create a safe and welcoming space ONLY for people who genuinely want to practice languages, discover new cultures, and build international friendships. 

As our community grows, maintaining this quality and atmosphere requires more organization, resources, and commitment. Until last year, we received a small amount of public support, which is no longer available as funding priorities have shifted to affected areas.

To keep VLE sustainable and continue offering well-organized, diverse events, we are introducing a small annual membership fee of 5,99€ per year. With it, you will receive back 4€ vouchers (2* 2€)  use on one of our trips and events. So in reality you are paying 2€.

This membership is not about profit — it’s about sustainability and commitment. It helps us ensure that those who join truly value language exchange, cultural connection, and respectful interaction.

We believe this step will strengthen our community and allow us to continue sharing languages, cultures, and friendships in the best possible way.

ONE DAY MEMBERSHIP

If you are in Valencia only for one day or you want to try opur meetings or you are visiting someone in LE meetings. You can make one day membership. 
This membership can be made only in the meetings from Monday – Thursday in LE meetings and it is valid for 24 hours. 

Membership Pro

Meet with others based on your interest, preferences, Age, and your area. 

How does it work? 
You fill a form, and our algorithm will connect you with others who  has same interest and preference as yours who live in your same area and who has more or less your age. 

You can meet them whenever and wherever you want, you can meet one to one or make a small group. 

Membership is 3,99/Month and cancel anytime. It has all benefits as VIP membership until you don’t cancel. 

Membership Benefits in details

  • Access to all free events for one year:  We have Language exchanges from Monday to Thursday and also on weekend 1 or 2 free events. 
  • 2€ vouchers for Excursions and events: On booking an paid excursion or Events, You could provide a voucher what will benfit you 2€. This voucher is UNIPERSONAL and not transferible. In case one year membership you will be able to use it twice and in case VIP you can use unlimited times. 
  • Access to discos and weekend events: From April 2026 all the discos events like Umbracle, Akuarela, Indiana, mucho etc.. Will have access fee of 2€, and for VIP Members for free. 
  • 1€/2€ discounts for Paid events: If the paid event is less than 10€, there will a discount of 1€, and if it is more than 10€, the discount will be 2€. 
  • Special discount in more than 50 places: (We have already many, check on page): We are working to find more than 50 places where LE members can have a discounted price. This places are from bars/restaurant, Renting places or Services like schools and translation and much more. 

*Events and excursions not organised by Language Exchange doesn’t apply any discount.
