5 days in Asturias will surprise you at every moment !
We will explore the majestic Picos de Europa and its dreamlike trails. We will visit the charming fishing villages along the coast, such as Cudillero, Ribadesella or Llanes.
We will enjoy its picturesque ports and golden sandy beaches bathed by the Cantabrian Sea. We will taste an exquisite gastronomy such as fabada asturiana and delicious fresh seafood. We will discover the paradisiacal Gulpiyuri Beach and enjoy the perfect waves at Rodiles Beach, ideal for surf lovers. We will visit cities such as Oviedo, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO. We will enjoy outdoor activities, from hiking to kayaking on the Sella River without missing a tasting of authentic Asturian cider.

Our program :
Day 0 and 1
We will leave in the evening towards Asturias, our first stop will be the town of Llanes with dream beaches, impressive cliffs and rich gastronomy. We will spend most of the day there and in the afternoon we will go down to the hotel (Cangas de onis) and check in.
Day 2
After breakfast we will discover Oviedo, the cultural jewel of Asturias, declared a World Heritage Site and after lunch we will head to Cudillero a charming fishing village with pristine beaches colorful houses a fairytale port. and in the evening we will return to our hotel.
Day 3
Set the alarm because we start a morning of adventure. You can do a long or short route and then you have the optional cable car of Fuente de Europa (20€).
Day 4
Today will be another day of adventure. Today we will kayak down the Sella river (optional). Afterwards we will visit the town of Ribadesella. If you don’t want to kayak you can visit Lastres another beautiful fishing village and spend the afternoon in Ribadesella.
Day 5
The last day has arrived and perhaps the most famous thing of asturias. COVADONGA LAKES.
We have breakfast, check out, put the suitcases in the bus or reception, take transport from Covadonga and go to the lakes of Covadonga, 3 lakes of glacial origin completely surrounded by mountains. some views that you will never forget in your life. we visit the basilica, monastery and in the afternoon with a lot of memories but with no desire to leave this wonderful country, putting the heart hard we returned to Valencia.

Travel material: Backpack, clothes, sunscreen, camera, etc.

We choose our hotels with great care to give you the best experience. Breakfast is included in all hotels, so we can start the day relaxed and go see a lot of things. Scroll down for more information.
On this trip we have the Hotel LA PASERA in SOTO DE CANGAS 3 kms from Cangas de onis and 4 kms from the Covadonga lakes.
We have triple or quadruple rooms in our hotels. If you want to have a double room, are 7 € pax / night more. for single would be 50 € / night.

They are glacial lakes that offer breathtaking scenery surrounded by majestic mountains, scenic trails, crystal clear waterfall. Before reaching the lakes you can visit a unique place famous sanctuary and the Basilica of Covadonga.

Optional activities (Hiking Picos de Europa / Kayak Rio Sella / Fuente dé)
Pico de Europa
The limestone massif of northern Spain stretches across the regions of Cantabria, Asturias and León. It is one of the most visited national parks in Spain and, with more than 200 peaks, a dream for all hiking enthusiasts (See details of our hike down).
Desfiladero of the Hermida
This beautiful hike is a circular route of 12.5 km in the national park of Picos de Europa. You will love the variety of nature that we will find. On this hike of medium difficulty, we will gain an elevation of 747 m. Watch a video of the hike here
Kayak/Raft Sella River
Enjoy a day on the river by kayak or, if you want a little more action, you can go rafting ! In this wonderful environment you will really enjoy the day. We will have 15 km of kayaking that will take us about three or four hours. A professional company will guide us at all times.
Fuente Dé
Fuente Dé is a charming village located next to the mountains of the Pico de Europa national park. The highlight of this village is the cable car, a gondola lift that takes you to the top while you can enjoy the incredible views! If you decide to spend the day in Fuente Dé, you will have a lovely day among incredible nature.
